FIRST-TIME POST INFO

Members, please contribute by first following these directions…

  • Click on the REGISTER link found next to FIRST TIME POST INFO of top menu.
  • Enter your “UserName” which can be any unused name. UserName can be anything of your choosing – it can be short or silly or your name separated by spaces.
  • Enter your email address. This must be a valid email address that you can receive an email from to complete registration.
  • An email will be immediately sent with a password that will allow you to log in.
  • Check your email and use the emailed password (highlight & copy, then paste — or type it in exactly as received).
  • Return to the CBT Ye Shall Be Witnesses LOG IN screen.
  • Enter your UserName & the emailed password.
  • You will then have access to post messages.
  • This first time log-in will prompt you to change your password to something of your choosing, making it easier to log in the next time.
  • After registering and logging in the first time, to post you will only need to use LOG IN to enter your UserName and Password.
  • Posts need to follow the pattern found at the sample.

  • Use your first & last name as you are known at church for your “Display Name” found under your Profile. Use proper name capitalization.

NOTE: The first time you post your story, you will not immediately see what you’ve written. After your name has been verified, your posting(s) will be made visible. Upon verification your log-in privileges will be promoted so you will thereafter see your posting immediately. The button text will change from “Submit For Review” to “Publish”. You must publish the story for it to become visible.

Keep posting daily even if you do not immediately see your posts on the page. All posts will become visible upon verification and promotion. Lag time between registration and promotion will be minimized.

Email or ask a pastor if you are becoming concerned that your work is not being displayed as it should.

Leave comments to help improve these directions to make it easier for others, or to ask questions if you are having problems. Catch-22: You must be registered and logged in to leave comments.

Log out when your are done.

Each person should have their own log-in and leave their own messages.

  • There is no shortage of available log-ins.
  • By each having their own log-in, they have their own tag and record.
  • Children can do their own postings in their own words and are encouraged to do so. Parents should check spelling, grammar, capitalization for proper English while preserving the words and thoughts expressed.
  • The only downside to this is each user must have their own unique email address. No email addresses can be shared by different users.
  • A Yahoo.com email address can be obtained for this use without cost or difficulty.
