Today I mailed a copy of the devotional booklet “Call To Glory” April 2011 to my mother’s house.
I also included a tract “Paid In Full”. Praise God that our sins are truly paid in full. Free to all who believe but purchased at a very high cost. I give thanks unto God for my salvation, for keeping me and the great blessings all along the way. God is good and faithful.
They should get it tomorrow – in time (barely) for once! Pray that the Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit through the Word of God will use the booklet and tract to bless and help my mother, sister, brother and nephew.
Among their needs are spiritual, emotional & physical.

Please be in prayer for a waitress at Frisch’s named Donna. She visited here last summer and has promised to be here this Sunday in the am service.

Please pray for a man who came to our church as a child and up until college age. We met him at the store this week and told him we love and missed him at church. He has promised to be here Sunday, his name is Jeff.

This morning there came a knock at my door. On my way to the door, I could see two ladies and I suspected they were Jehovah Witnesses. I said a quick prayer that God would give me calmness and surety of speech and memory. They were Jehovah Witnesses. Once Evelyn finished talking, I was able to give my testimony to them and quoted KJV verses about salvation. They did not take any tracts. They had their literature; however, after my talking to them, they put it back in their case. I thank God for the training I have received at my church during services, Discipleship classes, Institute classes, and my study and memorizing of God’s word. Before this training, I was not able to talk confidently; at times I even wouldn’t answer the door.

Please pray for two people we met last week. Lucinda works at the western store, lived on Shiloh Rd and visited our church as a child. Was able to leave her a tract and an invitation to our church. Also we ate lunch with an old friend and member of our church who has not been in years. Please pray for him he would soon be back in church.

While out with my family, met a young man in Wilmington who ask me how I was doing. After hearing I was “Phenomenal”, he was interested as to why I was doing so well. I was able to leave a witness with him. Please pray for him.

What a wonderful time we had at our annual Couple’s Retreat! There were witnesses left with the cleaners and waitresses at the retreat. Please pray they ‘Think on these things.’

Thank the Lord for a preacher who presented the gospel to my family at a funeral in KY this past Friday. Please pray it will find a lodging place in their hearts and that they will accept Christ as their Saviour. Also please pray for one of the cashiers at Meijer who is planning on visiting our church in the near future. Praise the Lord for a chance to talk to a young lady at the place where the church car is serviced at. She was not as busy this time and we found out she lives in Goshen, she took a gospel tract and said she would try to make church one Sunday.

Please continue to be in prayer for my brothers and sisters. Also, be in prayer for several tracts I have passed out & I continue to leave tracts at the gas pumps, in postage paid-envelopes, & at my bank. Left 3 tracts at the Honda Dealership when I accompanied a friend to have her car worked on. Please pray for her as I continue to talk to her – her name is Jeanette. Also, gave a tract to a waiter named Cord – pray the words on the tract touches his heart. Also, included tract in my State Tax Return and my City Tax Return.
Especially, pray for my friend Bob. We talked again today and although he has some thoughts correct, he has been very misled in other ways by Crossroads.

Today I mailed a copy of the devotional booklet “Call To Glory” March 2011 to my mother’s house in Northside, Cincinnati. I also included a tract “ABC Simple Plan of Salvation”.
I need to send these out sooner – they’ve already have a week of “catch-up” to do! Each month flies by so quickly.
Pray that God will use the booklet and tract to bless and help my mother, sister, brother and nephew. Among their needs are spiritual, emotional & physical.

I want to thank everyone that prayed for Ralph last week. Bro. Mullis, Bro Davis and I had a great visit with the family. They understood we love Ralph and want him to come back but they needed to come with him. They are members of another Baptist church nearby and are going to take him with them there.
Please be praying for a man we met on Saturday whose name is Josh Long. Josh even asked for a tract to take home with him before we even offered it.
Please keep praying for those that you have seen on our web site that the Lord would continue to work in their lives and that our hearts would stay in tune with the working of the Holy Spirit as well.

Please be in prayer for a child who caused a problem in Sunday school. We will go see him this week and encourage his parents to bring him instead of send him. Pray for a Sheriff we talked to on Sunday who knew he was saved but wasn’t attending church anywhere. We met a lady at Meijer who visited our church in the past and wasn’t going anywhere and encouraged her to come back again. The Lord reminded me of the importance of being a good testimony as a young lady we talked to on Saturday came to church Sunday not because of us but with a friend. Thankfully she had a good memory of our encounter and seemed glad to see us.

Had a Phenomenal time with my College Age Sunday School class Sunday afternoon. We went to Cracker Barrell and all had lunch together. Please pray for Eleayana who was our waitress. She is from Russia and we were able to leave a tract with her. Our young people were a tremendous testimony for our Lord.

Thank the Lord for a quick and safe trip to Kansas and back this week. Please pray for the tracts that were handed out along the way and that we would hear back from some of the contacts we made.

Went to the hospitals yesterday to check on Sister Long and Sister Rice, both were doing a little better (Sis. Rice is home now and Sis. Long is in a regular room).
I then spent the evening searching for a refrigerator as my parent’s refrigerator died this weekend. Praise the Lord He allowed us to get a good deal at Sears appliances. There I met a young man named Josh who helped us load the refrigerator on Bro. Sallee’s trailer. We witnessed to Josh and invited him to come to church. Josh was very interested. Unfortunately, I had passed out all the tracts I had taken that day and so had Bro. Sallee.
If you go by Sears hardware in Milford, please see if Josh is working and give him a tract and invitation once more.
Please pray for the waitress at Steak n Shake as well as she was the one who received our last tract.
Spent this evening at the hospital again. Pray for Mrs. Summers as she in in the hospital with pneumonia.
February 21 – Pastor Rick Sallee
Please be in prayer for these folks that God brought across our paths last week.
For Stacey, who was busy but was gracious and took a tract. For Shannon who promised to try to come to church soon and for Tim who had promised to be here Sunday but failed to keep that promise. (Both Shannon and Tim claim salvation)
Also pray for the young man who checked the electric meters here at church today as he eagerly took a tract.
February 20 – Scott Mullis
When we dropped Brother Kassner off Sunday morning I had the opportunity to see Jody (Gibson) Reynolds again. She had said she was going to come and visit the church several weeks ago. I asked her if she was still planning to come and visit with us and she confirmed she was still planning on doing so.
Please remember to pray the Lord would deal with her about attending soon.
February 19 – Scott Mullis
Brother Kassner called on Wedsnesday of this week and said he spoke to a lady named Shirley who was interested in coming to church on the bus. Brother Davis and I followed up and Shirley committed to coming on Sunday evening. As it turned out the big church bus had both batteries go bad Saturday, last Sunday our bus had a dead battery and this Sunday when we were supposed to pick up Shirley our bus broke down on the morning route and we were not able to pick her or Sister Kassner up because of needing a lift to transport them in their chair.
We did manage by God’s Grace to get all the children and Brother Kassner to church both Sundays. What a blessing!!!
Please pray for the buses and the routes as the the devil is doing his best to hinder this ministry of the church.

We were on our way home Friday after our trip to the bowling alley with the church. As we headed up Rt 28 I was pulled over by Goshen Police for going to fast in a 45mph zone. I respectfully told the Officer I had my permit to carry a weapon and told him my gun was in the console. He asked for my license and after returning to my car gave me a warning to watch my speed.
He had noticed my guitar in the back seat and asked if I played in band..I said I sing Gospel music and play at church which was where we had been. I asked him if he played…he said he played in a bar band. I said…well officer you gave me something tonight and I would like to give you something too…I handed him a church tract and invited him to church. I told him the Lord was rich in mercy just like you were merciful to me. I pray he may come to church and learn more of God’s Grace & Mercy.
While I regret being pulled over I am thankful the opportunity the Lord gave to witness for Him.
February 17 – Pastor Rick Sallee
Please pray for a young man we talked to on Monday who used to come here many years ago, he didn’t sound too promising on coming back anytime soon but he was invited and the Holy Spirit can convict his heart.
Also pray for a man at Eastgate Sonic who doesn’t live in the area but said he would read the tract and then give it to someone who lives closer.
