November 15 – Sandy Campbell
It’s been awhile since I input any witnessing events, but I have continued to pass out tracts and talk to clerks, tellers, waitresses, etc.
One Thursday afternoon a couple of months ago, I noticed an elderly lady reading. She continually came into the shop and she was always reading a small booklet. I talked to her about it and found out it was a “John & Romans” that she had had for several years. She indicated that she would like a newer one since several pages in hers were so worn from use that she couldn’t read them. I gave her one of our Church’s “John & Romans” and she was thrilled. Please pray for health reasons for Vernell – a truly joyful lady to talk to about our Lord.
Also, continue to pray for my family – I will be with my sister’s family for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Pray for me as I attempt to be a withness for our Lord as he presents the opportunity.

This past Saturday, I attended a graduation open house for my great-niece (my youngest brother’s granddaughter). While there I met two wonderful ladies, Miss Kim and Miss Wanda. We congregated to one another and began a very wonderful discussion. I was blessed by our conversation and I pray they also received a blessing. Please pray for God’s guidance in my life & also pray for guidance for Wanda and Kim.
I received a special blessing from Pastor’s messages both Sunday morning and Sunday night. I pray that I do not limit God in my life by my lack of faith.

Please continue to pray for my friend, Bob and his wife, Pam. I was able to talk to Bob yesterday and then again today. He accepted the John & Romans and the study guide. He had told me previously that in his reading of the Bible, he found Romans boring. I, of course, found this very upsetting.
I quoted several passages to him and he said he would re-read and he would do the study guide.

I have been attempting to get in touch with Maressa, the young mother that Cortnie Davis and I talked to during our visitation on 4-17-11. She seems to be having a problem with her voice mail and I haven’t been able to leave a message. Well, today, praise the Lord, after I hung up – not being able to leave a message, she returned my call. She said she is very busy with work and the kids. She didn’t have any questions for me, but she said she would call me back. She indicated she may be interested in visiting our church and she would let me know. Pray for Maressa, her husband, Jordan, and their two children, Aubrey and JP.

This morning I picked up my cousin, Etta, and her older son, James.to take them to the grocery store. She is disabled and not very healthy and James, although he is in his late 30′s, is mentally many years younger. I have been talking to her and giving her tracks at different times. This morning she accepted the John & Romans and the study guide. She promised she & James would read and she said she would then pass it on to her younger son, Ralph, & daughter- in- law, Sarah. Pray for this family and me as I continue to work with them.

Monday night Courtney Davis and I went on visitation. We talked to several people with good response and we were able to leave several John & Romans, study guides and tracts. Please pray for a man named James and another named Jeremy. Both took the John & Romans, study guide and tract and are open to men from the church coming to talk with them. Jeremy even mentioned he may visit our church.
Also, pray for a Maressa, a mother of 2 small children. She indicated she was Catholic but she took our literature and said she would be willing to have us come back to talk again. She indicated she was interesting in visiting our church.
We had a wonderful time and had some fantastic experiences talking to these & others.

I was talking to my friend, Bob, a few weeks ago. He asked me this question “What would you ask God if he walked in the room?”
I said I would ask Him why he loved me so much as to send his only begotten Son to die for me?
After this past Thursday night’s prayer meeting, I emailed Bob with the following information: In our mid-week services on Thursday nights, we are studying through the Psalms. This past Thursday, we were studying Psalm 116. Verse 1 states “I love the LORD,…” We talked about there being million and millions of reasons why we love the LORD, but Pastor Burke asked “Why does God love us.”
This made me remember our conversation. Pastor referred us to Deuteronomy 7: 7-8.
verse 7: “The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people …”
verse 8: “But because the LORD loved you, …”
So the answer to my question is simply because he loved me.
I continue to talk to Bob and quote the King James Bible; and he listens and seems to be interested in talking; but he continues to use a corrupt version of the Bible. Pray that my life and my witnessing may be helpful instruments which through the Holy Spirit will open Bob’s eyes to the truth.

This morning there came a knock at my door. On my way to the door, I could see two ladies and I suspected they were Jehovah Witnesses. I said a quick prayer that God would give me calmness and surety of speech and memory. They were Jehovah Witnesses. Once Evelyn finished talking, I was able to give my testimony to them and quoted KJV verses about salvation. They did not take any tracts. They had their literature; however, after my talking to them, they put it back in their case. I thank God for the training I have received at my church during services, Discipleship classes, Institute classes, and my study and memorizing of God’s word. Before this training, I was not able to talk confidently; at times I even wouldn’t answer the door.

Please continue to be in prayer for my brothers and sisters. Also, be in prayer for several tracts I have passed out & I continue to leave tracts at the gas pumps, in postage paid-envelopes, & at my bank. Left 3 tracts at the Honda Dealership when I accompanied a friend to have her car worked on. Please pray for her as I continue to talk to her – her name is Jeanette. Also, gave a tract to a waiter named Cord – pray the words on the tract touches his heart. Also, included tract in my State Tax Return and my City Tax Return.
Especially, pray for my friend Bob. We talked again today and although he has some thoughts correct, he has been very misled in other ways by Crossroads.

This morning I met Yvonne. She works as a phlebotomist at Quest Diagnostic. In our conversation I found out she attends Abundant Life Apostolic Church on Winton Road. I left a tract. Please pray she reads and learns the true Gospel.
Also, please continue to pray for my brothers & sisters: David, John, Sharon, Judy & Jeff. They have received the letters I mailed to them with my testimony. Pray the Holy Spirit speaks to each heart as needed so they come to the Lord or come back to the Lord.
Several tracts mailed with postage-return envelopes. Also, included a tract in a bill to Professional Radiology Inc. Left several tracts at my bank.
January 27 – Sandy Campbell
I included a tract with a bill to Jewish Hospital. Pray that it reaches a willing heart. Also, gave tracts to two young men: cashier and bagger at the Kroger in Loveland. Left tracts at Office Depot, gas station pumps again; and mailed several tracts in “postage paid return envelopes.”
Gave a tract with a little money to a homeless man on the side of the road. I pray he will use the money wisely and take the words of God to his heart.
January 20 – Sandy Campbell
Today, I mailed the letters to my siblings concerning our mother’s death benefit from the insurance company. In the letter I added my testimony and presented the “Gospel” to my siblings. Please pray their hearts are receptive to the “good news.”
Also, yesterday, I left 2 tracts with the cashier at McCluskey Chevrolet – her name is Vanessa. Left 2 tracts at the bank and 2 at the gas station pumps.

Today at the Dentist office, I ran into a friend, whom I hadn’t seen in a while. I told her about mom’s passing and how mom had placed her faith and trust in Jesus Christ and was in Heaven and that I would see her again because I also had put my belief in Jesus Christ and what he did on the cross for all of us. Mary Jane is Catholic – she listened to me but I don’t think she fully understood what the meaning of my words were. Pray for her and also Amy, the dental hygienist, who was also listening. I have found that mom’s passing has presented me with several instances like above: The same words were told to another friend Marie on Monday.
January 18 – Sandy Campbell
I left a tract with Taylor, waitress where I ate lunch yesterday with several friends. Tom, the husband of one of the ladies with whom I use to work, recently had a scare concerning cancer. He was overcome with joy and tears as he told us how touched he was by the number of prayer lists he was on. His wife, Carolyn, is the friend I asked pray for last Thursday – she found a lump on her thyroid and will have biopsy done tomorrow. Pray for both – they talk about how good God is and what God has done in their lives, but they don’t attend church. Pray that our conversation yesterday will touch their hearts. Also, pray for Lois, another friend that was present – she is Catholic.

Remember to continue to pray for Toni, Housekeeper at Wingate Hotel in Tampa, Florida.
Also, 2 young men at Tire Discounters; Shawn, cashier at CVS; Felecia, cashier at BP; cashier at Kroger (didn’t get her name) – all were receptive to taking tracts. Left 3 tracts at 2 different gas stations at the pumps.
