For many years now I have been praying and trying to witness to my neighbor, Harry. Harry’s wife died last year and he has since been moved to his daughter’s home in Milford. Yesterday, I was able to talk with his daughter Jill who lives 2 houses down from us. After a long conversation, she took a tract and my phone number with a promise to call if she had questions. Please pray for Jill and the now opened door we have with her in witnessing.

We had 20 go out soul winning this week. I had with me one of my favorite visitation partners, Alex. Alex and I went to many doors and was able to leave a witness with many. I ask you to pray for one who would not allow us to witness. When we drove up, I noticed not just Catholic evidence, but idols set up in the yard which were obviously prayed to and worshiped. It broke our hearts. As we knocked on his door, he rebuked us and refused to open the door and allow us to speak. Rather, he ordered us to leave his property. It broke our hearts to see a man so blinded by the Devil. His only words to us repeated were “Leave, I am Roman Catholic! Leave, I am Roman Catholic!” Please pray for him that he would realize the error of his idolatrous ways. He needs to be saved.

What a wonderful time we had on visitation on Monday. Over 40 of our members came out to go door to door in sharing the Gospel. My group had many good visits. Please pray for a man named Jim who promised to consider having us come back by and do a Bible study with him.

Today I went by the home of Will (a relative of a church member) and spoke to him about his salvation and need to get into church. He told me he was too busy to come to church or speak of things right then. I asked him to consider allowing me to come to his house once a week for a few weeks to discuss the Bible. He said he would consider it. Please pray the Lord softens his heart and gives me wisdom as to when to speak to him again soon.

While out with my family, met a young man in Wilmington who ask me how I was doing. After hearing I was “Phenomenal”, he was interested as to why I was doing so well. I was able to leave a witness with him. Please pray for him.

Had a Phenomenal time with my College Age Sunday School class Sunday afternoon. We went to Cracker Barrell and all had lunch together. Please pray for Eleayana who was our waitress. She is from Russia and we were able to leave a tract with her. Our young people were a tremendous testimony for our Lord.

Went to the hospitals yesterday to check on Sister Long and Sister Rice, both were doing a little better (Sis. Rice is home now and Sis. Long is in a regular room).

I then spent the evening searching for a refrigerator as my parent’s refrigerator died this weekend. Praise the Lord He allowed us to get a good deal at Sears appliances. There I met a young man named Josh who helped us load the refrigerator on Bro. Sallee’s trailer. We witnessed to Josh and invited him to come to church. Josh was very interested. Unfortunately, I had passed out all the tracts I had taken that day and so had Bro. Sallee.

If you go by Sears hardware in Milford, please see if Josh is working and give him a tract and invitation once more.

Please pray for the waitress at Steak n Shake as well as she was the one who received our last tract.

Spent this evening at the hospital again. Pray for Mrs. Summers as she in in the hospital with pneumonia.

We arrived back home this evening after a very long trip! We praise the Lord for safety and good services, but we are all glad to be back home! We were able to leave many tracts and witnesses between here and Little Rock, Arkansas.

One especially I would like you to pray for is an older man we met at a gas station in Memphis. I spoke to him and shared who I was and why I was traveling. I was able to witness to him and leave him a tract. He was very open and willingly took the tract. As we were leaving, he thanked me, waived to us good bye and was sitting reading the tract.

Please pray for the Lord to work in this man’s life and the many others who received a Gospel witness.

Dear church,

My family and I have made it to Dryersburg, Tennessee on our way to Little Rock and Pastor Coomer. Along the way we are trying to leave tracts and a witness for our Lord.

Please pray that these tracts and witnesses will be received and considered. We love and miss you all and will keep you updated.

A man named Josh ran out of gas today in front of the church. I was heading towards my car at that time. I was able to get him some gas for his car; but more importantly, I was able to leave him a Gospel witness. He asked me how he could pay me back as he was out of money, I told him all I asked was that he consider the Gospel and promise to be at church soon. He told me he was working this Sunday but would be there next week.

Please pray for Josh that he will indeed keep his word. I was able to get his address and will visit him next week to remind him of his promise.

Saw again David Kennedy.  David works at the Skyline in Goshen.  David rode our buses for many years as a child.  I have encouraged David to come back to church and consider the Lord.

Please pray for him and should you stop by Skyline, please encourage him the same.

Spoke to the cashier at Walmart today while out visiting with Bro. Sallee. She lives in Milford and doesn’t attend church anywhere. She was very kind and accepted the tract I gave to her and invitation to come to a service soon.

I heard back from Pam from the Wilmington Journal Newspaper today and SHE IS GOING TO RUN OUR BIBLE STUDY IN THE PAPER! It should be in this week. Please pray with me that there will be folks who will contact us soon to begin such a study. What a great opportunity this is! I put in the paper for folks interested in learning what the Bible is and Why we have a Bible to contact me. Pray the Lord uses this to save souls!

Dear Church,
Please pray with me concerning this opportunity. I have contacted Pam Stricker who is the publisher of the Wilmington Journal news about putting an invitation in the paper which reaches all of Clinton County-including my home of Blanchester. The invitation is for folks to allow myself or one of our members an opportunity to meet with them one time a week for four weeks to discuss the Bible-What it is and Why it was written. It would cover the class I taught in our institute. This could be a great opportunity. I also invited Pam to allow Stacey and I to meet with her and do the same. Pray for this opportunity as she is considering it all.

Today I took my daughter Grace visiting with me and on a ‘date’. We stopped at her favorite restaurant in the world, Skyline. While there we met a lady who we were able to leave a witness with. Had a good day visiting our bus route as well. Met two new folks we had never met before. One of the girls who rides the bus is Kayla. I am working on her father who has visited our church twice in the past year. I am hoping he will agree to a Bible study on salvation in his home.

Spent the day visiting.  Was able to visit Mrs. Mathena and she encouraged my heart.  I was able also to spend time with Bro. Hiles who is in need of prayer at Clermont Hospital.  I also went to Bethesda North Hospital and visited Bro. Gene McVey recovering from a stroke.  While there, I visited with a lady named Amy.  Amy was in a car accident and is in the hospital recovering.  She said she, “Prayed when she was young and grew up in church.”  She shared with me how that she had gotten out of church and life was filled with ‘one mistake after another.’  I shared with her what I preached on yesterday morning (a faith without works is dead).  Amy wept as she recognized a dead faith.  Though convicted, she did not make a decision to put her faith and trust in the Lord.  Please pray for Amy that she would make this decision.

Please pray for one I was able to witness to today, a lady named Carol.  It was evident that conviction was upon her, but she did not make a decision for the Lord.
