February 18 – Scott Mullis

We were on our way home Friday after our trip to the bowling alley with the church. As we headed up Rt 28 I was pulled over by Goshen Police for going to fast in a 45mph zone. I respectfully told the Officer I had my permit to carry a weapon and told him my gun was in the console. He asked for my license and after returning to my car gave me a warning to watch my speed.

He had noticed my guitar in the back seat and asked if I played in band..I said I sing Gospel music and play at church which was where we had been. I asked him if he played…he said he played in a bar band. I said…well officer you gave me something tonight and I would like to give you something too…I handed him a church tract and invited him to church. I told him the Lord was rich in mercy just like you were merciful to me. I pray he may come to church and learn more of God’s Grace & Mercy.

While I regret being pulled over I am thankful the opportunity the Lord gave to witness for Him.

About Scott Mullis

I got saved by the Grace of God in June of 1980. It has been 31 years now and I love him more everyday. I met my wife Sandy in church and we were married April 20, 1990. We have been serving the Lord at Cozaddale Baptist Temple for a little over a year now. We love our church.
