On Monday, my director asked me if I would stay with an elderly lady who walked to the center to get a ride to a rental car place. She had run away from her family after an argument they had. Her plans were to drive to Indiana and not to tell them where she was going. In the hour I spent with her, I was able to find out that she had been saved and baptized as a young girl. She said she believed the Bible is God’s Word.
This allowed me to use verses to help counsel her. At the end of the hour she told me that she would call her family and seek counselling. I was very thankful that the Lord was with me in that unusual situation.
Your wisdom in handling the matter and your preparation in knowing helpful scriptures were a blessing to that lady & her family. The director chose the right person at the right time. God’s hand was guiding along the way.
Hopefully the lady is saved. Let’s remain prayerful that the family reconciles as forgiveness blesses their household.
